Treehuggers are it
Not long ago, people who were openly conscious about nature, didn’t eat meat and preferred organic products, were labeled as treehuggers.
Yes, you know what we’re talking about. Those men and women who didn’t fit in, who spent hours through the health food shop. The people some referred to as: ‘Ah, typically a vegetarian. Looking skinny and pale.’ They preferred to pick blackberries in the forest and make jam out of it, instead of buying it at the local grocery store. And most people thought of it as a waste of time.
Well, think again. Nowadays it seems like the masses’ perception has completely shifted. Organic food is insanely popular. Even the big chains embraced it, and that means a great deal. Creating your own jam is now perceived as a wonderful way to spend your time and also very delicious and healthy. Nowadays discussing ingredients is part of the buying process. Why do you think that tv shows about origin of food or the sense or nonsense of food are so popular? We can tell you this much: Petit & Jolie is very pleased with these developments.
You can find it in our mission: we want to be fair and transparent. A product is more than a product. It is part of a product chain. This product chain must be in harmony with its surroundings. Not only at the place of destination (your bathroom), but also in the production of products. So, if you have any questions, just ask.
What we also like is that sustainable, organic and natural products are also getting a facelift. Organic products do not look natural, grey and brown any more. Finally, it’s colors all over. Natural ingredients are, in our view, a reason for celebration. And you can tell it from our packaging. Much more fun in the children’s room, right?
So yes, we are treehuggers. And we’re proud of it!
